Below are links to some of the websites we use here at Woodlands School. Some are great websites for general information, others are subscription based websites for sessions, games and activities which your child is probably already very familiar with.
HelpKidzLearn is a fantastic website that has a wide range of online games and activities accessible by mouse and keyboard, one or two switches, touch and eye gaze.
Here at Woodlands, we deliver Tacpac sessions for our children and young people who are learning from our Sensory Curriculum. Tacpac draws together touch and music to create a structured half hour of sensory communication between two people. It creates sensory alignment and helps people of any age who have sensory impairment, developmental delay, complex learning difficulties, tactile defensiveness, and limited or pre-verbal levels of communication. You can carry out Tacpac sessions at home, but the sessions do need to be purchased from the website.
