Our 85 pupils are aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of physical and learning needs. We employ nearly 100 people and we all work together to Create Empowered Lives.
CLASS TEACHER
Full-time, permanent
Salary: MPS + SEN point
Date required: 6th January 2025 or earlier if possible

We have a rare opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join us at Woodlands School, in an environment which is totally adapted to help our pupils learn and flourish.
You will need to be an experienced teacher with the knowledge and skills to work with children with complex needs. Experience in leading and managing a team of support staff is essential for a successful appointment.
You will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to personal development, with a positive attitude and resilience to face the ever-changing challenges of special school education. The role will include planning for progress in learning, undertaking effective assessment and managing the performance of staff. We will need to see evidence of effective communication with staff, other multi-agency professionals and families.
Following appointment you will be offered a tailored package of training to provide you with the tools you need to succeed. We believe in supporting everyone to get the best out of our young people. All teachers at Woodlands lead on a key aspect of school improvement and coordinate a subject. All of this will be explored at interview.

EDUCATION, HEALTH AND CARE ASSISTANT VACANCIES

Salary: Grade C, Scale Point 5 Actual Salary - £15,696
Contracted Hours: 28.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3:15pm (with 30 minutes lunch break unpaid) 39 weeks per year
